🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1953, a radar operator at Offutt AFB recorded an object that appeared on the screen with characteristics similar to a weather balloon. The object was observed for 36 minutes, entering from the northeast and changing direction from 250 to 70 degrees. Despite its size and echo intensity, its nature could not be identified. Radar experts concluded it might be a phenomenon related to microwave propagation, possibly influenced by weather conditions. The air base submitted the report as part of a UFO sighting protocol.
