Summary

In October 1953, two witnesses in Palmer, Alaska, observed two bright golden lights moving northeast. The lights appeared 10 to 15 miles away, descending a mountain and moving away. According to the report, the objects drifted along the river and then rose out of sight. The observation lasted 15 minutes and was recorded as a ground visual. Despite the detailed description, authorities concluded there was insufficient information for further evaluation, considering the case not a priority.

The report, initially classified and later declassified, does not include photographs or physical evidence. It was shared with several U.S. Air Force intelligence units, but was not deemed a significant phenomenon. Nevertheless, the description of the golden lights and their unusual behavior remains a mystery that continues to intrigue UFO enthusiasts.
