🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1953, two observers in Cyprus spotted two white or bluish lights moving at high speed. The objects traveled in a straight line for a few seconds, describing a 30-degree arc before disappearing behind a building. Despite investigations, no aircraft or weather balloons were found in the area. The description and speed suggested an aerial phenomenon, but no clear identification was made.
The observation was recorded by a USAF officer who contacted air traffic control and weather stations, finding no explanation. Both witnesses agreed on the description and ruled out reflections or meteors. The report concluded the case remained unidentified, highlighting the inability to explain it with conventional objects.
