Summary

In October 1953, a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer and a geologist observed a bright object in the sky. The object changed color from fluorescent blue to red and moved in a southeast direction. Although one witness compared it to a magnesium flare, investigations concluded it was a weather balloon. There were no visible emissions or sounds, and the landing area was inaccessible.
