🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1953, a group of teenagers in Westport, Mississippi, observed several objects in the sky that appeared to have tails and displayed colors such as red, yellow, and white. One described a round object with a red tail descending slowly from a star. Later, with binoculars, they saw other similar objects moving at high altitude. Although they initially thought it might be a flying saucer, authorities classified it as an astronomical phenomenon, possibly a meteor. The detailed description and the presence of multiple witnesses add interest to this case.
The observers, including a 13-year-old boy, reported seeing seven round objects with tails, moving slowly and changing speed. Some disappeared while others remained visible. Despite initial confusion, the official report considered it a natural event. The description of colors and trajectory suggests an atmospheric or astronomical phenomenon, though the mysterious nature of the objects remains intriguing.
