🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1953, two unidentified objects were observed over Simiutak, Greenland, for an hour. One remained stationary to the southeast, glowing white, while the other, to the northeast, changed colors from red to green to white. Observers could not identify them as civilian or military aircraft, and weather conditions were clear, aiding visibility. The objects were seen against a starry sky, with Venus, Jupiter, and Arcturus visible, adding to the mystery. The local air base reported the event, requesting more information after questioning witnesses.
The investigation concluded the objects might be related to celestial bodies like Venus, rising in the east, or Arcturus, in the northeast. However, the color changes and the stationary nature of one object did not align with typical planetary movements. The lack of photographs and the inability to contact nearby civilian aircraft left many questions unanswered. The report was sent to multiple air bases and intelligence centers, highlighting the widespread interest in this case.
