🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1953, at Thule Air Base in Greenland, an unidentified aerial phenomenon was observed by several pilots and observers. The report details multiple sightings over a short period, with consistent descriptions of luminous objects moving at high speed. Witnesses described white and bluish lights, some elongated in shape, without tail or trail, traveling at an estimated speed of 1000 knots. Although initially considered an astronomical phenomenon like a meteorite, some observers did not identify it as such. Weather conditions were clear, with no clouds, and there was no radar contact. Pilots attempted to intercept the object without success. The report concluded it was likely an astronomical event, but the testimonies suggest it was not a conventional occurrence.
