🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Albuquerque, New Mexico, reported a circular object with a bluish-orange tail on January 3, 1954. The object was seen for only two seconds, moving in a straight line from an elevation of 40 degrees above the horizon. Although a meteor was considered, the data was insufficient for a conclusive evaluation. The report was sent to the Air Force Intelligence Directorate, but no further action was taken and the phenomenon remained unidentified. As with many other cases, this one was filed away without a definitive explanation.
