🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In January 1954, a witness in Rangeley, Maine observed two unidentified aerial objects for 15 minutes. The objects were described as bright, yellow-white with occasional orange hues, and had star-like edges. They moved northwest and were the size of a pea at arm's length. The witness, a researcher in cosmic orgone energy, observed them from his study and noted that one disappeared into a valley while the other took its place along the same path. Military authorities could not identify the phenomenon and classified it as "unidentified".
The report includes maps, sketches, and a detailed account of the sighting. Although explanations like balloons or astronomical phenomena were considered, none fully matched the observations. The case was filed without resolution, and the testimony remains in military records as part of the unidentified UFO archives.
