🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1954, a bright, spherical object was observed over Puente, California. Witnesses described it as having silvery edges and a reddish glow on the bottom. The wife of the main witness reported seeing the object for about 30 seconds and collecting residue that looked like cobweb strands. These were placed in a jar, but they seemed to evaporate upon contact with air. Investigators concluded it might be a balloon or astronomical phenomenon, though the UFO possibility wasn't ruled out.
The report includes photos of the jar with residue, but analysis didn't yield conclusive results. Investigators also interviewed other witnesses and checked local records without finding relevant information. Despite doubts, the mysterious nature of the object and its residue remain an unsolved enigma.
