🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1954, anti-aircraft units in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, recorded an unidentified flying object via radar. Reports from multiple batteries consistently describe the object as a stationary echo on radar screens, remaining unmoving for hours. Observers included officers and technical personnel, who confirmed it was not an aircraft, balloon, or meteorological phenomenon. Despite interception and tracking attempts, no physical identification was achieved. Weather conditions were normal, with moderate winds and partly cloudy skies. The official report concludes there was no physical evidence or clear explanation for the phenomenon.
