🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1954, hundreds of people in Connecticut observed a mysterious object in the sky. They described a bright metallic object moving in different directions and at varying speeds. Some saw it for over an hour, generating numerous calls to authorities and the local newspaper. Although it was suggested the object could be a weather balloon or the planet Venus, witnesses agreed it was none of those. The object was silent, appeared to have depth, and at times showed flashes of orange and red. Some even reported seeing fire around it. Despite initial doubts, several observers, including pilots and engineers, were certain it was not an airplane or a balloon.
The case gained more attention when another person in Goodear, Connecticut, reported a similar experience. A man was surprised by an intense light casting shadows on the ground, followed by a silent, luminous object passing overhead. The coincidence of witnesses in different locations, such as Goodear and Waugrman, eight miles apart, adds credibility to the sighting. Although some details are confusing, the description of a silent, bright, and unpredictable object doesn't match conventional objects. This case remains an unresolved mystery in UFO history.
