🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1954, a witness in Wichita, Kansas, observed a formation of nine lights moving at high speed in a northern direction. The report details that the lights were in a V formation and appeared extremely high and fast. The observer, seated in his car, described the lights as silent and disappearing at a 35-degree angle. Weather conditions were ideal, with visibility over fifteen miles and clear skies.
The report includes detailed meteorological data and notes no aircraft or meteor activity in the area. Despite efforts by air services to find physical evidence, nothing was found. The witness, a 35-year-old man working at a local company, had no prior interest in aerial phenomena. This case is part of many reports that generated interest at the time, although no conclusive explanation was reached.
