🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Westwood, Ohio, reported a bright object between two trees on May 31, 1954. The observer described a light that appeared to pulse and move slowly from left to right, slower than the setting sun. Initially thought to be a star, its behavior raised doubts. The object disappeared behind storm clouds, complicating identification.
The color and movement description suggest it was neither an airplane nor a common star. The observer, located in a home with windows facing northeast, watched the phenomenon for a few minutes before clouds obscured it. Patterson Air Force Base was notified, but no physical evidence or photographs were recorded.
