Summary

In May 1954, six civilians in Mississippi City, Mississippi, observed a luminous object resembling a baseball. The object, appearing reddish-yellow and occasionally green, moved east for two minutes before two red balls fell from it and it disappeared. Although it was concluded to be an aircraft, the possibility of a flare from a training plane was considered. The observation was visual only, with no physical evidence or photos.
