Summary

In June 1954, a pilot observed a bright object descending rapidly from an extremely high altitude. The object was moving at high speed, between 500 and 600 kilometers per hour, and came so close to the ground that it seemed to touch it. After an abrupt slowdown, it made two full 360-degree turns. The light blinked briefly before disappearing without making a sound, leaving the observer with no clear explanation.

The classified report labeled the event as "Unidentified," finding no clear cause for the phenomenon. Although balloons, aircraft, and astronomical explanations were ruled out, the object was not photographed and the available information proved insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
