In 1952, multiple witnesses in Spain and North Africa reported sightings of unidentified flying objects. One of the most notable incidents occurred in Barcelona, where a witness saw an object with a smoke trail that did not resemble an aircraft or typical flying craft. The object, described as rocket-shaped, moved in a straight line without emitting light or spinning on an axis. Although colleagues at the newspaper office only saw the smoke, the witness claimed the object disappeared and reappeared several kilometers away.
In Tunisia and Morocco, similar phenomena were recorded. In Sousse, citizens observed an object emitting a pale green light and moving at high speed. In Taourirt, a luminous disc appeared in the sky, and in Casablanca, an object was seen with two circular smoke trails. These sightings, published in local newspapers, generated significant public interest and numerous phone calls to media outlets. Although the origin of the objects was not identified, the testimonies consistently described unusual movements and features distinct from conventional aircraft.
