In October 1955, a CIA report documented the observation of two disc-like objects in Prague. A witness mentioned seeing lights that ascended vertically and passed over a train at high altitude. However, he could not confirm details of the object, such as its shape or size. The witness noted that the object moved in an unusual way, without making noise, leading him to believe it was a "flying saucer". Despite this, investigators considered his testimony insufficient to confirm the existence of an unconventional aircraft.
The report highlighted that other members of the group might have observed the phenomenon better. Additionally, it mentioned a research project at Avro Aircraft Ltd. in Canada, where they were working on developing aircraft with characteristics similar to UFOs. Although still in early stages, it was estimated these aircraft could reach speeds of up to 1,000 miles per hour and altitudes of 100,000 feet. This project, led by John Frees, might have had German influence after World War II.
