🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1954, a witness in Denver, Colorado, observed a glowing green object that resembled a modern aircraft with swept-back wings. The object was seen for 30 seconds, moving north to south at high altitude, following the curvature of the Earth. The witness, a 40-year-old woman, described it as bright and distinct, though no sound was heard. At the time, a B-36 was in the area, leading investigators to consider the possibility of a conventional aircraft. However, the detailed description and the object's behavior raised some doubts.
The official report classified it as "probably an aircraft," but did not rule out other possibilities. The sighting was recorded without photos or radar, limiting the available evidence. Despite this, the witness's testimony, combined with the precise location and flight description, remains an intriguing case in the UFO archives of that era.
