🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1954, a man observed an unusual object while flying near Indian Lake, Ohio. The witness, John Mark, described a shiny metallic object shaped like a plate with an inverted cone on top. The object made no sound or smoke and moved at an astonishing speed of 2000 mph. Mark checked that it wasn't a reflection by looking with and without sunglasses, and from different angles. Radar also detected the object, but it couldn't be clearly identified. The investigation concluded it wasn't a balloon or aircraft, and the phenomenon remains unexplained.
