In July 1954, an air traffic controller at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington observed a mysterious object for over an hour. The object appeared translucent, shaped like a teardrop, and moved from northeast to southwest. Despite several jets attempting to intercept it, it made no sound and remained at a high altitude. Photos were taken using binoculars mounted on a camera, but when developed, the negatives only showed tiny particles.
