🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1954, a civilian in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, reported an unidentified aerial object during dusk. The witness, a 25-year-old insurance salesman, described a smoky-white object shaped like a smoke ring. It hovered for 15 minutes, circling like a buzzard before suddenly speeding southward in a reddish hue. The observer, impressed by the clarity and duration of the sighting, contacted local newspapers to report the event.
The detailed report includes precise observations, such as time, location, and the object's unusual behavior. While the Air Force concluded it was likely an aircraft, the witness found no conventional explanation for the object's actions. The case was filed without resolution but remains a classic example of a detailed UFO sighting.
