🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1954, a witness in Hebron, Newfoundland, reported a luminous object that appeared to have a yellow light above and red below. The observer, a local missionary, saw the object through a telescope and described how it moved slowly westward before suddenly disappearing behind a mountain. Although initially thought to be Mars, other analyses suggested it could be a star like Spica or Antares. However, the exact nature of the phenomenon remained unclear. The sighting was recorded in multiple military reports and was considered an astronomical phenomenon, though no definitive conclusion was reached.
