Summary

In August 1954, a witness in Dorchester, Massachusetts, spotted seven objects in a line formation with a teardrop shape, as large as bombers. The observer, who claimed 20/20 vision and military experience during World War II, described the objects changing from white to blue as they disappeared toward the northwest. No exhaust or trails were observed, and their speed increased before vanishing. The sighting lasted about two minutes and was confirmed by another person, one of them wearing Polaroid glasses.

Although a high-altitude weather balloon was also in the sky at the time, the witnesses did not associate it with the phenomenon. The official report failed to reach a clear conclusion, ruling out balloons, aircraft, or astronomical explanations. The case remains unidentified, adding another mystery to the history of sightings in the 1950s.
