🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Monbridge, South Carolina, reported a white object that turned into all the colors of the rainbow. It appeared as a bright fire descending and disappeared by falling. The sighting lasted between 5 and 10 seconds and was recorded on October 31, 1954. The observation was visual and aerial, with no photographs or physical evidence. Investigators concluded it was an astronomical phenomenon or a meteor.
The report, part of Project 10073, does not mention the exact trajectory of the object. Although initially unusual, the most plausible explanation points to a natural phenomenon. This type of sighting, while unusual, is not uncommon and often has simple scientific explanations.
