🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1954, a witness in San Antonio, Texas, observed a mysterious object that initially appeared as a ball of fire. The object emitted a sound similar to escaping steam and then split into two bright white lights. The description indicates it was traveling at a speed of 1500 mph, which raised attention due to its speed and unusual behavior. The observer saw the phenomenon for about 12 to 14 seconds, and although the possibility of an aircraft was considered, it could not be confirmed.
The official report concluded it was an aircraft, but no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found. The object moved toward the southwest, performed a vertical climb, and disappeared from view. Weather conditions were clear, and there were no reports of air traffic in the area. Despite investigations, the cause of the sighting remained unresolved, leaving open the possibility that it was an unidentified phenomenon.
