🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A military observer in Nouasseur, French Morocco, reported an unidentified object in October 1954. The object was described as round, the size of a pinhead, and silver in color. It was observed for 30 seconds, moving in a straight path without maneuvering, from an elevation of 64° and an azimuth of 243° to 40° elevation and 30° azimuth. The report notes that no sound was heard and that the object was observed while following the flight of a weather balloon through a theodolite.
The observation was made from the ground using a theodolite, which adds credibility due to the precision of the instrument. Despite the detailed description, investigators concluded the object could not be identified. This case is part of the Project 10073 records, a military intelligence program that collected information on unidentified aerial phenomena.
