A civilian witness in Albuquerque, New Mexico, reported a white circular object with no trail or sound in 1954. The sighting lasted between 7 and 8 seconds, and the observer viewed it from the ground. The description notes that the object had no discernible features and was moving extremely fast. Despite the brief encounter, the report details that there was no physical evidence or photographs. Investigators concluded it was likely a reflection of sunlight off a conventional aircraft.
The official investigation suggested the object could have been a solar reflection on a metallic surface of a plane. No sounds or emissions were recorded, complicating its identification. Although the witness could not determine the exact path, the report concluded there were no signs of non-conventional activity. This case, like many from the era, was filed without a definitive resolution.
