🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1954, a civilian airline pilot reported a UFO near Tulsa, Oklahoma. While performing a landing maneuver, he briefly observed an object the size of a small fighter jet, silent and without vapor trail, with wings shaped like a half-moon. The pilot described the object as moving very slowly or remaining motionless, which caught his attention. Although he tried to gather more information, no photographs or physical evidence were recorded, and the report concluded that the data was insufficient for evaluation.
The incident occurred in a context of busy skies, with regular air traffic in the area. Air traffic control was informed, but no conventional explanation was found for the sighting. Despite the brief observation, the report stands out for the detailed description of the object and its unusual behavior, making it an interesting case within the UFO files of that era.
