🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1954, a military pilot observed a bright object over the Atlantic Ocean. The sighting occurred at 23:58 and lasted about 20 seconds. The object was moving east to west without leaving a vapor trail, making it hard to explain with conventional objects. Although the incident was recorded, no detailed report was received after the plane landed, leaving many questions unanswered.
The report states that weather conditions were optimal for observation, with 15 miles of visibility and no clouds. Despite the clear description of the object's movement and direction, no photos or physical evidence were obtained. The case was classified as "insufficient for evaluation," suggesting no satisfactory explanation was found. Cases like this, though incomplete, are valuable for understanding how UFO sightings were handled during that time.
