🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A pilot reported a brilliant flash of light so intense that it lit up the cockpit before suddenly disappearing. The incident occurred near Tonia, New Mexico, in November 1954. Although no photos were taken and the observation was brief, investigators concluded it was likely a meteor. The short duration and luminous nature of the phenomenon made it hard to identify with certainty, but the data suggest an astronomical explanation rather than an unidentified object.
