🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1954, a civilian observer in Baltimore, Maryland, reported an unusual aerial object that caught attention due to its strange behavior. The object was initially described as round and white, then changed to orange and occasionally took on a cigar-like shape. Most intriguingly, it appeared completely stationary in the sky, with no tail or visible movement. The sighting was recorded by a military officer and sent to several defense units for analysis. Despite no photographs being taken, the report included precise details such as elevation and azimuth, indicating a serious and detailed observation.
Military authorities considered various possibilities, from weather balloons to astronomical phenomena, but no definitive conclusion was reached. The report was classified under Project 10073, an air intelligence initiative. The object showed no signs of being a conventional aircraft, and its apparent stillness made it even more mysterious. Although the case remained unresolved, the report accurately documented what the witness saw, adding another chapter to the history of unexplained aerial phenomena.
