🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1957, a woman wrote to recount an experience she had three years earlier, in 1954, when she saw a bright light slowly descending in the sky. While driving toward her mother's house, she noticed an unusual light that moved in a strange manner. After stopping to observe, she experienced a mix of fear and confusion, accompanied by physical symptoms such as a racing heartbeat and dizziness. The object, described as a "fish-shaped craft," vanished quickly, leaving the witness deeply unsettled.
The official report, part of Project 10073, considered various explanations, including a balloon, aircraft, or astronomical phenomenon, but concluded that the data was insufficient for a definitive evaluation. The woman, who worked at a brush factory in Florence, Massachusetts, described the incident clearly and sincerely, lending credibility to her account. Despite the lack of physical evidence, the case was forwarded to the Air Force Department for analysis, as reports of unidentified flying objects were being collected at the time.
