🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer on St Lawrence Island, Alaska, reported a reddish-white light appearing three times at five-minute intervals, each lasting three seconds. The light remained stationary approximately 200 yards away. The sighting lasted 25 minutes and no photographs were taken. Investigators considered the possibility of a sea vessel pilot light, but no definitive conclusion was reached. The report, dated January 30, 1955, was categorized as "Other" due to insufficient data. Although balloons, aircraft, and astronomical phenomena were ruled out, the nature of the object remains unresolved.
