🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1955, a witness in Kings Landing, California, reported an unusual UFO. While observing jet aircraft, he noticed a shiny aluminum object resembling a large wing. The observer described a whirring sound similar to a commutation machine, rich in harmonics and almost musical, fluctuating in volume. The UFO performed extreme maneuvers, including a vertical climb of 34,000 feet in 20 seconds and a steep dive. Despite detailed descriptions and the witness's insistence, military authorities did not respond or investigate. The report was sent to Congress but received no significant attention. The case reflects the frustration of a citizen who tried to assist authorities regarding a phenomenon he considered unconventional.
