🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1955, a commercial pilot and a GOC observer saw a very bright falling object toward the horizon for three to four seconds. The observer described red, yellow, and green colors, but there was no aerial activity in the area. Due to a 10-day delay in the report and the low probability of further investigation being useful, no follow-up was authorized. The data seemed to point to an astronomical phenomenon like a meteor.
