🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1955, a witness in Azusa, California, observed two square, silver objects moving rapidly northward. The sighting lasted five minutes and included a humming sound. Despite the clear description, authorities concluded it could be an aircraft, though other possibilities were not ruled out. The lack of photographs or radar data complicated a definitive evaluation.
The report, under Project 10073, was shared with several military units and air intelligence centers. The description, along with the testimony of a 45-year-old woman, caused some controversy, especially due to the aerial activity in the area. Although balloon or astronomical explanations were considered, the most likely conclusion pointed to an aircraft, albeit with uncertainties.
