🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1955, a witness in Montevideo, Uruguay, observed a bright object hovering in the sky. It emitted intense light with a pulsating pattern: shining for 4 seconds and dimming for 1 second. A smaller light of the same color appeared below it. The object then moved southward silently, remaining visible for about five minutes. The sighting was reported by a U.S. civilian in Uruguay, who did not take photos. Although a balloon was considered, the phenomenon remained unidentified.
The official assessment marked "Possibly Balloon," but no definitive conclusion was reached. This case is part of the Project 10073 records, a mid-century initiative to document unidentified flying objects. Despite the lack of conclusive data, the detailed and coherent description continues to intrigue researchers and UFO enthusiasts.
