🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A man and his nine-year-old son observed a conventional aircraft flying over Rome, Georgia, in April 1955. As the plane flew away, two glowing objects appeared to detach from the wingtips, one in each direction. The father saw one of them, which slowly climbed westward, while his son pointed out another heading north. Initial investigation suggested it might have been an aerial exercise, as it was confirmed that four aircraft were practicing similar maneuvers at the time. Although the report didn’t fully resolve the mystery, it pointed to a conventional explanation. Witnesses described the objects as "fireballs" that didn’t seem to belong to a normal aircraft. The case was filed as "probably aircraft," but the description of the objects remains intriguing.
