🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1955, a witness in Fellows, California, reported a white round object the size of a football held at arm’s length. The object was observed for approximately 45 seconds while moving in an easterly direction. Although the witness did not take photos, they clearly described the shape and movement of the object. Due to the lack of additional information and the low probability of obtaining more data, investigators concluded it was likely an aircraft. However, the description did not fully match conventional objects, leaving open the possibility of something unusual.
The report, classified under Project 10073, was considered insufficient for further investigation. Researchers concluded there was no clear evidence of a UFO, but they could not completely rule it out. This case reflects the difficulty investigators faced during that era when evaluating reports with limited information, especially when witnesses could not provide additional details.
