🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1955, a woman in Kentfield, California, observed a bright object moving rapidly toward the ground. The object, described as round, yellow, and the size of an orange, appeared suddenly in the sky and disappeared behind hills within seconds. The sighting was recorded as a ground visual observation, with no photos or radar involved. Despite its unusual appearance, investigators concluded it was likely a meteorite. Its speed and downward trajectory supported this explanation. No further investigation was conducted.
