🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1955, an observer in Tokyo spotted a swept-wing object at approximately 60,000 feet. The sighting lasted 14 minutes and the object disappeared leaving puffs of smoke. Although the possibility of it being an aircraft was considered, no clear identification was made. The mysterious nature of the event and lack of precise data led to the conclusion that there was insufficient information for a definitive evaluation.
The report was submitted by a military observer and sent to several USAF units for analysis. Despite the pilot's experience in observing it, no conclusive answers were found. This case remains one of those aerial mysteries that could not be explained with the available data at the time.
