🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1955, two airmen in Cheyenne, Wyoming, observed a formation of four unidentified flying objects. Two of them had a slender, rectangular shape and emitted white light, while the other two were oval, dark, and displayed intermittent bluish-purple illumination. The objects made no sound and left no trail, remaining visible for several minutes. Although the possibility of weather balloons was considered, the investigation failed to reach a definitive conclusion.
The report from Francis E. Warren Air Force Base was labeled "unresolved," as no conclusive evidence was obtained. The witnesses provided detailed descriptions of the shapes and movements of the objects, but no physical evidence or confirmation of aerial activity in the area was found. Despite clear visibility and favorable weather conditions, investigators could not determine the nature of the objects, leaving the case in a limbo between the unexplained and the conventional.
