🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Baltimore, Maryland, observed a red, white, and blue oval object in June 1955. The object, the size of a silver dollar at arm's length, remained still at times, flickered, and changed in brightness. No sound was heard, and it disappeared suddenly without a trace. The observation lasted five minutes. Although a balloon was considered, the data was insufficient for a definitive evaluation. The official report classified it as "insufficient for evaluation."
The object did not display typical aircraft or astronomical behavior. Its unusual appearance and movement caused confusion, but the report did not reach concrete conclusions. This case is part of the Project 10073 files, an Air Force initiative to investigate UFO sightings.
