🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1955, three oval objects were seen near Poulsbo, Washington, for one hour. They were pink to blue, changing color, and appeared to "bounce" in the sky. A civilian and a military observer reported them, and the possibility of balloons was considered. The investigation suggested a possible connection to a submarine nearby, but no confirmation was made. The data remained inconclusive.
The official file noted that the objects matched balloon characteristics, though other possibilities weren't ruled out. An aerial investigation was authorized to check any link to the submarine. Despite efforts, no definitive identification was made. The case was closed without resolution, but with a clear tendency toward a conventional explanation.
