🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In June 1955, a witness in Bethesda, Maryland, observed four elliptical objects with a bright yellow glow. They were moving northeast to west at an estimated altitude of 40,000 feet. The sighting lasted about 20 seconds and was made using a 7-power scope. No sound or trails were detected. The lack of detailed information led to the consideration that they could be jet afterburners, though this was not confirmed.
The official investigation concluded there was insufficient data for a clear evaluation. While balloons and astronomical objects were ruled out, the possibility of military aircraft was considered. However, the report did not reach a definitive conclusion, leaving open the chance that the objects were non-conventional.
