🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer in Baltimore, Maryland, reported on July 7, 1955, a silver spherical object approximately four feet in diameter that reduced to three feet. The object appeared to be blown by a light wind toward the observer, landing about 100 feet away. Upon hitting a fence, the object began to evaporate or dissolve without leaving a trace, appearing as a mass of tiny bubbles, each about the size of an eraser. Physical evidence was collected from the object and the surface it landed on. The responsible officer considered it likely to be a soap bubble, similar to another sighting in February 1955. Despite physical evidence, no definitive conclusion was reached.
