🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A nighttime sighting in Toulab, France, describes a luminous object with changing colors and behavior. On July 11, 1955, a ground observer reported a round object with reddish light that turned bright white. Without sound or trail, it ascended, arced to the left, and hovered at the same altitude as the observer's aircraft. The object then moved laterally like a pendulum, crossing the aircraft's path. The phenomenon lasted about 19 minutes before fading away. Although a balloon was considered, other explanations were not ruled out.
The report, under Project 10073, includes no photos or radar data. The observer was a military member in a C-47 aircraft. Despite the long duration of the sighting, the object's nature remains uncertain. It was logged as "possibly a balloon," but no confirmation was given. This case is part of a series of sightings that generated unresolved reports, leaving questions about its origin.
