🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1955, a 15-year-old student in Glennavon, California, observed a round red and white object moving rapidly westward and then upward. The object, the size of a dime held at arm's length, was seen for three minutes, and the witness claimed it was faster than any jet aircraft. This account adds to another similar sighting on the same day, where the same observer described a red object moving from east to west. In both cases, authorities considered the possibility that the object was the exhaust plume of a jet aircraft viewed from behind, although no balloon activity was reported in the area. Despite conventional explanations, the object's description and speed remain intriguing.
