🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In July 1955, two unidentified objects were sighted over Orlando, Florida, prompting a detailed report from military authorities. Two civilian witnesses reported the observation of two objects moving east between 15:15 and 15:30. There were no photographs or sufficient data to evaluate the nature of the sightings, leading to the conclusion that it was not possible to determine if they were balloons, aircraft, astronomical phenomena, or other.
A second report, dated the same day but at a different time, recorded the observation of a single luminous object with an east-to-west trajectory. This object was described as round, large, and bright, with a visible trail. In this case, it was concluded to be a meteor, which aligned with descriptions from civilian and military witnesses. Despite the lack of images, observational data and meteorological context supported this interpretation.
